What We Offer

• Swimmers training with the club coaches must join Champion Swimming Club
• Club membership is on an annual basis from 1 May to 31 April of the following year
• The club is affiliated to Northern Tigers Swimming, Swimming SA
• Swimmers who wish to compete in galas must affiliate to NTS
• In terms of NTS and SSA rules, clearance must be obtained from the club secretary should anyone wish to change clubs or provinces

• Swimmers will be placed into groups according to ability / proficiency / dedication etc and may be moved to another group or time should it become necessary

Centurion:

• Wendy Albertyn – Head Coach Centurion;
• Trevor Albertyn – Assistant at Centurion.

• Please note that it is a proven fact that in order to study effectively, regular exercise is essential
• It has also been proved that swimming increases concentration and swimmers are amongst the most disciplined students
• As in any sport, only regular, proper training, and hard work will really produce desired results

• We compete in the Northern Tigers Swimming age-group / league galas once a month during summer, championships once a year and, other galas from time to time
• Only registered swimmers may compete in most galas
• In the summer all family members are welcome to attend club get-togethers and club galas

• NTS requirement is that we provide 1 official for every 5 competitors in each session
• Registered officials who meet the requirements laid down by SSA & NTS will be eligible for NTS Officials Colours (takes approximately 3 seasons of regular officiating) and SSA Colours (a little longer and at National Galas)
• Officials Clinics will be held during the season
• Officials do have a few advantages and often lots of FUN !
